Marcin Marzejon is an optical engineer and researcher specializing in optics and biomedical imaging. He earned his PhD in Electronics summa cum laude from Gdańsk University of Technology, for his contributions to research on the phenomenon of two-photon vision. Currently, he is a Specialist at the Institute of Physical Chemistry PAS, where he develops cutting-edge interferometric near-infrared spectroscopy techniques for noninvasive bioimaging.

Dr. Marzejon has co-authored 9 peer-reviewed scientific papers, 16 conference proceedings, and holds two patents. He has participated in multiple international collaborations, including study visits at Johns Hopkins University and the Centre for Translational Vision Research at the University of California, Irvine. His expertise encompasses fiber optic sensors, Raman spectroscopy, two-photon vision and imaging, and quantitative phase imaging. With a passion for applying optical technologies to solve real-world challenges, Dr. Marzejon also brings experience in software development, data analysis, and system prototyping, leveraging programming tools such as Python, MATLAB, and LabVIEW.
