Marcin Marzejon, PhD Eng., is an engineer with experience in photonics, biomedical imaging, and physical optics. He earned his doctorate from Gdańsk University of Technology, with a dissertation titled “Two-photon perimetry utilising picosecond pulses”. Throughout his career, he has worked on optical fibre-based sensors, Raman spectroscopy, two-photon vision, two-photon microscopy, quantitative phase imaging, and, more recently, near-infrared spectroscopy.
He is an author of over 10 peer-reviewed publications, 2 polish patents, and one European Patent Application. His work integrates optical design, data processing, and numerical methods for biomedical diagnostics. He has held research positions at the Warsaw University of Technology, the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the International Centre for Translational Eye Research (ICTER), and has completed research stays at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and the Center for Translational Vision Research at UC Irvine.
