Tomir Domański graduated with a degree in Applied Physics from the Faculty of Physics at the Warsaw University of Technology. As part of his engineering thesis, he analyzed ECG signals using convolutional neural networks.
He discovered his passion for optical imaging during his master’s studies in Biomedical Technology and Physics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He gained practical skills in working with fiber optic systems and designing optical sensors during an internship at the OnePlanet Research Center in Wageningen and in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Physics at Amsterdam UMC Hospital in the Netherlands. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, exploring new places, mountain climbing, and sailing on nearby waters.
