Maciek is a graduate of the Faculty of Physics at the Warsaw University of Technology, where he studied technical physics with a specialization in medical physics. He is interested in medical imaging methods, and during his thesis work he focused on topics related to MRI and EEG methods.
Toward the end of his master’s studies, as part of his university coursework, he had the opportunity to participate in a visit to ICTER, where he became interested in methods of imaging and diagnosing eye diseases. After completing his studies, he decided to undertake a three-month internship at the institute and currently continues his work at ICTER as a PhD student.
In his free time, he enjoys drawing, learning to play the piano, and in winter he loves skiing.
