Lukasz Stasiak is an innovation and commercialisation leader with over a decade of experience at the interface of science, healthcare, and real-world impact across genomics, HealthTech, and MedTech. He holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford and has built his career driving innovation into successful products and services, and building and scaling businesses around them.
His experience spans innovation and business strategy, financing and fundraising, as well as ecosystem building, including collaboration with academic, clinical, industry, and government partners. He held an executive role at the leading virtual ward company Doccla UK, as well as a management role at the global digital health company Huma Therapeutics. While at Genomics England, he partnered with government, industry, and healthcare organisations to develop strategies and proposals for large-scale national genomics programmes. As a business consultant, he has contributed to multiple translational initiatives, supporting funding acquisition, shaping commercialisation pathways, and accelerating research impact.
At ICTER, he serves as Director of the Innovation Hub, where he is responsible for the transformation of breakthrough ophthalmic technologies into clinically validated solutions and scalable ventures. He works at the intersection of science, industry, and investment, shaping commercialisation strategies, enabling partnerships, and supporting the creation of spin-outs and industry collaborations. The Innovation Hub acts as a gateway for external partners seeking access to cutting-edge research, talent, and translational opportunities within the ICTER ecosystem.
