Katarzyna completed her undergraduate thesis in field of virology at the Warsaw University of LifeSciences (SGGW), where she focused on characterizing cell-mediated immunity in a mixed culture of microglia and astrocytes during SialodacryoadeniNs virus (SDAV) infection.
Currently, she is pursuing her MSc thesis at the Military Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, investigating the protective effects of noble metal nanoparticles on the central nervous system (CNS) during Coronaviridae infection. Additionally, she is a member of the Interdepartmental Student Research Group of Nanobiotechnology (MKNN) at SGGW, contributing to a project focused on neurobiology. At ICTER, she is involved in the SONATINA 8 project, working alongside Natalia Ochocka.
