Graduated from Microbiology and Biotechnology at the University of Maria Curie-Sklodowska (UMCS) in Lublin, Poland. She obtained a PhD degree in Biochemistry at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics (IBB), Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) in Warsaw, Poland. She continued her scientific work as a postdoctoral fellow at University of Warsaw, next at IBB, and later on as a senior researcher at the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB) in Warsaw, Poland.
She moved to carry out scientific work at the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) in London, UK. She is experienced in protein purification and molecular and cell biology techniques and her scientific interests focus mostly on biochemical and biophysical protein characterisation. She led one scientific grant as a PI (Polish-Norwegian Grant). She also promoted two master’s thesis.
