Hussein Nasrallah

Hussein Nasrallah holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lebanon, as well as dual Master’s degrees: one in Digital Biology from the University of Pavia, Italy, and another in Educational Management from Lebanon. With a strong background in biological sciences and expertise in computational tools, he specializes in protein-protein interaction prediction. During a six-month internship, he utilized AlphaFold2 to investigate novel interactions between the bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi and its vector, Ixodes scapularis (ticks), contributing to a deeper understanding of vector-borne diseases.

Research groups

We are interested in creating new approaches for comprehensive inference of developmental trajectories and delineation of cell atlases from single-cell data, understanding the role of cell-to-cell signaling and biological pathways in lineage commitment and transitions between cellular states.
