ICTER (International Centre for Translational Eye Research) seeks a highly motivated Project Manager who will be responsible for executing the Teaming for Excellence project.
Key responsibilities
Project coordination and administration
- Oversee administrative management tasks of the project
- Ensuring compliance with EU funding regulations and project guidelines.
- Maintaining project documentation, records, and reports.
- Managing and maintaining project tools (EMDESK).
- Preparation of periodic reports to the EU and consortium partners.
- Identifying and mitigating administrative risks in project implementation.
Financial and budget management
- Monitor budget allocation and financial reporting.
- Coordinate financial transactions, including pre-financing and expenditure tracking – using the EMDESK tool and in cooperation with Accounting and the ICTER Operations Director
- Assist with procurement procedures and contract management
Consortium and stakeholder communication
- Acting as a liaison between project partners, funding agencies, and institutional bodies.
- Management of time sheets.
- Preparing and distributing official correspondence, meeting minutes, and updates.
- Participate in consortium meetings (Project Executive Board and Technical Coordination Team).
- Support the planning and execution of project meetings.
Our requirements
- A university degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of professional project management experience.
- Advanced familiarity with the Teaming for Excellence funding scheme.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management, including effective communication with diverse stakeholders such as funding bodies, academia, government institutions, and non-profit agencies.
- Knowledge of EU project planning and management principles, as well as familiarity with European Commission rules associated with Horizon Europe.
- Proven track record of organized meeting and events.
- Established negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
