The International Centre for Translational Eye Research is looking for a highly motivated project manager who will be responsible for the implementation of the MAB FENG and MS&HE complementary funding of the Teaming for Excellence project.
Key responsibilities
- Coordination of the International Research Agendas Project (MAB-FENG) and complementary funding from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MS&HE).
- Liaise with funding bodies, the International Serie Committee, ICTER Board, and research groups.
- Monitoring project implementation according to schedule and budget.
- Ensuring compliance of project activities with national and international regulations.
- Preparation of substantive and financial reports.
- Financial handling of MAB-FENG, MNiSW projects and verification of Teaming for Excellence expenditures in EmDesk.
- Documenting project progress and liaising with finance, HR, purchasing and PR.
- Creation of information materials and content for websites.
- Liaising with controllers, auditors and attending networking meetings.
- Implementing tools to improve project management.
- Acting as a liaison between funding agencies and the implementing authority.
- Prepare and distribute official correspondence, meeting minutes and updates on projects.
- Participate, support, plan and implement project meetings.
Our requirements
- University degree (preferred majors: science, technology, life sciences).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing R&D research projects, including those funded by national and international funds.
- Knowledge of research funding regulations, preparation of reports, and project budgets.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in organising meetings and events.
- Established negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Experience in coordinating collaboration between academic units and external partners.
- Knowledge of MS Office, grant processing systems, and English at B2 level.
- Ability to manage a team, work under time pressure, and organise work.
- Knowledge of the Public Procurement Act.
