Junior Software Specialist/ Student Intern (vacancy filled)

Profile of candidates/requirements:

1. Student in computer science, software engineering or related discipline
2. Good knowledge of modern C++ including clean code practices
3. Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and architecture design patterns related to it
4. Good to have knowledge of Python, C#
5. Proficiency at CMake, GTest, Git usage
6. Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux OS work principles, including communication sockets, library creation and management
7. Basic knowledge in robotics and control engineering
8. High English communication skills
9. Good self-organization

Key responsibilities include:

1. Development of software for robotic arm control
2. Unit and functional test preparation using Gtest
3. Code reviews
4. Image processing pipelines preparation
5. Work on DevOps – Adjusting Docker files, CMake, testing of different compilers setups, software debugging and profiling for high processing rate
6. Performing other duties as directed

Key assesment criteria:

1. Documented experience fitting the profile requirements
2. Presented opinions via reference letters (if required)

Individual Scholarship paid by the Foundation for Polish Science. *The scholarship is treated as financial support for the project participant and paid by the Foundation only, directly to the individual bank account of scholarship holder on the basis of separate agreement.
