Project title: Phase-Sensitive Measurements of Signal Transduction in the Inner Plexiform Layer in Mouse Retina

Project leader: Wiktor Kulesza, MSc

The aim of this project is to develop a new method to study the response of nerve cells in the mouse retina to light, which could contribute to a better understanding of brain diseases and vision problems and lead to the development of new therapies.

To achieve this goal, we have constructed a unique Spatio-Temporal Optical Coherence Tomography (STOC-T) imaging system that can produce detailed, three-dimensional images of the mouse retina in response to different light patterns.

Using STOC-T, we can accurately analyze the response of retinal cells to different types of light, allowing us to better understand their function and potential disorders.

Our research may contribute to the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for the treatment of eye and nervous system diseases.

The total funding of the project is 139 999 PLN
